Eintracht Frankfurt creator Jesper Lindstrom has opened up on his Liverpool allegiance when quizzed about a potential £17 million move to Premier League rivals Arsenal, speaking to Tips Bladet.
This is not the first time Lindstrom has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners were reportedly keen on the Denmark international a year ago, before Frankfurt snapped up a little-known forward from Brondby for a bargain fee of just £6 million. And, after an impressive debut season in the Bundesliga, it should not come as much of a surprise to see Lindstrom back on Arsenal’s radar.
According to BILD, the Premier League pacesetters could launch a bid for the fleet-footed 22-year-old in 2023. Lindstrom is valued in the region of £17 million.

“When you play regularly in a club in one of the biggest leagues in the world, and you help win the Europa League, then there must be clubs that are watching,” Lindstrom explains when quizzed about those Arsenal links.
“It’s a huge confidence boost to hear that such a big club is watching me. But I honestly don’t know if it’s true.”
The right-footed attacking midfielder will have a difficult decision to make should Arsenal firm up their interest in January. Then again, the Gunners are not his absolute favourite of the English-based superclubs.
“I’m a Liverpool man,” Lindstrom adds with a chuckle.
Lindstrom provided an impressive nine assists and five goals in 2021/22, helping defeat the likes of Real Betis, Barcelona and West Ham United en route to the Europa League final victory over Rangers in Seville.
“I like to play up front but can also play on the wings,” he tells the Bundesliga website. “I have a strong shot from distance. And I like to link up play in the penalty area.”
“Jesper is very young and came from a different league. He’s already made significant steps forward,” adds Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.
