John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu, Foluke Daramola, and their colleagues have reacted shortly after they were called out for supporting Bola Tinubu for the 2023 presidency.
Mr. Ibu, Foluke Daramola, Harry B, and some other Nollywood stars are being dragged on social media for allegedly endorsing Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 2023 Presidential Candidate.
In a video that surfaced online, the Nollywood stars were spotted sitting around a conference table and praising Tinubu.
Mr. Ibu came out to defend himself following the innumerable claims making rounds on social media.
Mr. Ibu mentioned that the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, had done a lot for him, including a residential apartment that he gave him. In the same stream, he added that Atiku is his candidate and he will not leave Atiku to support someone else.
He alleged that Atiku and the Enugu State Governor are like father figures to him and cannot disappoint them by campaigning for Tinubu. He also said that the Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi flew him abroad for treatment when he was ill.
However, he failed to explain why he was singing Tinubu’s praise in the video that led to his haranguing.

Foluke Daramola in reaction to the viral video mentioned that no one paid her any money to support Bola Tinubu.
Foluke said the gathering she and her colleagues were in with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, had no concerns with politics.
She added that though she is a card-carrying member of the APC, they were not present at the table to endorse any candidate, rather they were there for a peace and unity campaign.
