It’s been an amazing week of brand new music releases in the Nigerian music scene. Here are our top ten faves for the week:
10. Oladips- Birthday Finesse
On Thursday last week, OlaDips dropped a brand new amazing record, “Birthday Finesse“, a cover of Pheelz hit song Finesse to celebrate his birthday. Enjoy!
9. Raebel-Miniskirt
Fast-rising singer and songwriter Raebel is out with a new song that has rapidly gained popularity since its release because of her unique vocals and style of music. This track which is her debut track is titled “Miniskirt”.
8. Throne Room- Anya
Another fast-rising Nigerian Christian band/choir released this song on their last EP titled “The Bridge” and are actively gearing up for a massive Middlebelt worship event they are hosting in April. You can read all about it here.
7. Johnny Drill- Ova
We can’t have enough of Johnny Drille. This single is the perfect anthem for a chill drive home after a hard day at work.
6. J Martins- Oyimma
Making a comeback this week at no. 7 is one of Naija’s top crooners with another evergreen hit.
5. Yemi Alade- It’s up to us
Effyzzie Music record label presents “It’s up to Us“, a brand new amazing record delivered by Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade. Enjoy!
4. MI- Daddy ft Chillz
Nigerian ace rapper M.I Abaga is back on the music wheel as he drops a brand new amazing single titled “Daddy” with a guest appearance from Chillz. Enjoy!
3. Rema- Time and Affection ft Chris Brown
Pulled from the newly released Rave & Roses Album, Afrorave singer, Rema drops a brand new record titled “Time N Affection“, featuring American singer, Chris Brown. Enjoy!
2. Humblesmiths- Omalicha
Humblesmiths resurfaces with another sweet melodious jam he titled “Omalicha”. It’s an Igbo word that translates to beautiful in English. Enjoy!
