The founder of Daar Communications Plc Raymond Dokpesi , has been discharged from the University of Abuja treatment centre two weeks after testing positive to Coronavirus

Dokpesi and seven other members of his family including his son tested positive for the virus. They were evacuated to an isolation center in Abuja where they received treatment for the disease.

However, on Thursday morning, Dokpesi was discharged after spending two weeks at the Abuja isolation facility. The media executive in a letter of appreciation signed by him, expressed gratitude to God for seeing his family through the trying period.

“I am exceptionally indebted to God Almighty for keeping and protecting me and my entire family all through our isolation at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada Isolation Centre” “We are better acquainted with the personal sacrifices many Nigerians are making to ensure that we collectively defeat this pandemic. This cuts across the policymakers, the care providers and even the cleaners whose job puts them at constant risk of exposure” his letter read.

He seized the opportunity to thank Nigerians for their concern and prayers, including high profile personalities who reached out with messages of support.
