In a preseason friendly in Korea, Atletico Madrid defeated Manchester City 2-1.
Memphis Depay and Yannick Carrasco scored the goals that gave Atletico a well-deserved victory over City.
The match was delayed by 40 minutes due to rain in Seoul. In the first half, City made the majority of the decisive plays. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, created two excellent chances through Alvaro Morata and Thomas Lemar.
Pep Guardiola’s treble-winners were unable to get an equaliser despite Ruben Dias’ late header from a Sergio Gomez corner.
Next Saturday, Manchester City will meet Arsenal in the Community Shield.
