Manchester United defender, Diogo Dalot, has left the club to join AC Milan on a season-long loan.

Man United confirmed this in a statement via its official website on Sunday ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

The statement read in part: “Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot will spend the rest of the 2020/21 season gaining invaluable experience in Italy, after completing a temporary transfer to AC Milan.

“Everyone at United wishes Diogo the best of luck for his stay in Italy.”

It is the first time Dalot has been out on loan since he joined Man United from Porto in 2018.

The 21-year-old has made 35 appearances for Man United so far.
