Nigerian veteran singer and entertainer Charly Boy a.k.a Area Fada born (Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa), son of late former Supreme Court Justice and leader of the Oputa panel (Human Rights Violations Investigative Commission) Chukwudifu Oputa has hinted a divorce from his American wife of 45years Lady Diane Oputa (now a TV personality and host of Taakra) who he had met in 1974 in a hair salon in Boston, U.S where he had gone to make his hair, the couple later got married 3 years after.

Recall that the superstar remarried Lady Diane in 2018 after 41years of marriage in a colorful event, he had eulogized her that though he had gotten a child from a marriage prior to theirs, she has become the mother of all his children. This ceremony was held in Abuja. He did say he married young at the age of 19 to Stella oputa, that he was given his first wife by his mother.

The singer hinted divorce through a post on social media saying ;

“If I tell una say, after over 45yrs of marriage to my wife dat am going back to bachelorhood,
what would you say?
I don talk say dis marriage of a tin just no easy.
The longer u stay, the harder it gets.
What should I do? I tire oooo.“

The Real question is, Area father is known for controversy, so is this a true reflection of a tear in the 43year old marriage or this is another plot to remarry Diane Oputa as he has done before?
