A disgruntled Nigerian man has demanded that his church refund the money he was forced to pay in the name of investing in the Kingdom of Heaven.

In a video, the man explained that his pastor used the Bible verse Matthew chapter 6 VS 19 – 21 to convince him to invest in the church for years.

The verse reads: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

He went on to say that those teachings brainwashed him and led him to invest so much in the church.

However, he claims that times have changed; the Nigerian government, as well as the banks, have failed him, and he now wishes to cash out on his investment in the church.

He then showed the “Kingdom Investment” booklet, which shows proof of the tithe he’s been paying for years.

He also displayed a sticker in his home indicating that he has been a member of the church since 2013.

He added that he can forego the offering and other church donations, but he wants the tithe for which he has proof.

“… I just need all my tithes, let’s forget about the offerings and the gifts that I give to churches, not only in your centres, in your branches, I give to them.. I don’t need that. What I need is what I have proof of. These are my investments to heaven.

…I don’t want that heaven again.. I have made up my mind to go to hell..

Please I need my money. I’m no longer interested in heaven….”
