The authorities in Nigeria’s commercial capital Lagos, have made wearing of face mask mandatory in a bid to halt the spread of Coronavirus.

The numbers of confirmed cases in the city stands at 731, more than half of the total confrimed cases in Nigeria

The Government said that anyone who fails to use face mask in q public place in the city will be penalised.

Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the government will distrbute face mask to residents in the state.
