Patrick Padiayefa, the leader of Presidential Amnesty students, who led other colleagues in a protest at Novena University, Ogume Delta State, has been kidnapped.

According to sources, Mr. Padiayefa was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Tuesday, September 27.

The 25-years-old was said to have been waylaid by his assailants around 10a.m along the popular Udu expressway, Udu local Government Area of Delta state.

While details of Patrick’s abduction is still sketchy, it is linked to a protest coordinated by the victim on August 26.

Patrick had led student to protest following Novena university’s decision to revoke the admission of more than 500 students due to claims of fake admission. The school directed concerned students to withdraw immediately.

This protest led by Patrick Padiayefa further led to the university’s abrupt closure during exam period.

Novena University was accused of working hand-in-hand with certain back-door merchants to siphon culpable students in the guise of enrolling them via the Presidential Amnesty Program.
