The 1988 classic “Send Down The Rain” performed by the Nigerian Veteran Reggae Musician and Guitarist Majek Fashek was lifted off his Debut Studio Album Prisoner Of Conscience. This song had been rumored to be more metaphysical than mere music as there is always a heavy down pour when the singer performs it. Majekodunmi Fasheke monikered Majek Fashek was born to a Yoruba father and an Edo mum. The legend passed on in New York on June 1st, 2020 at age 57.
