President Buhari summons security chiefs over security challenges in some parts of the country(Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, May 14, summoned members of the National Security Council to a security meeting at the Council Chambers, State House, Abuja.

This was disclosed in a tweet by Bashir Ahmad, a personal assistant on new media to the president via his verified Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad.

Top on the agenda for their meeting is the recent security challenges in some parts of the country and how it can be effectively addressed.

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, service chiefs, and other heads of security agencies were in attendance.
