Real Madrid were quiet during this summer transfer window, despite the lofty rumours that had spread about it months earlier, regarding potential moves for the likes of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe. Ultimately, neither one of those players was signed by Los Blancos, although they did make a couple of smart additions in Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger.

Tchouameni is proving to be an incredible signing if the early signs are anything to go by and could be a future superstar for the club. On the other hand, Rudiger, who arrived on a free transfer, is starting to make his mark on the team as well and recently scored his first Real Madrid goal.

While the dust has barely settled on the recent summer transfer window, there is already talk of future moves though and one player that Real Madrid appear to have in their sights is Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.

As reported by 90min, Real Madrid and Manchester City are among the sides monitoring Saka, which Arsenal and the player are aware of.

Real Madrid and Manchester City have their eyes on Arsenal prodigy
Saka has been a big contributor for Arsenal for more than three seasons now, which is remarkable considering the fact that he just recently turned 21 years of age.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has already made 138 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions, scoring 24 goals and providing 31 assists in the process of doing so.

On top of that, Saka is an incredibly versatile player who has played all over the pitch for them. Thus, it is not hard to understand why the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City would be interested in the 21-year-old.

His current deal with Arsenal is believed to run out in the summer of 2024 and as a result, they would want to agree a new contract with him as soon as possible. And there is believed to be a confidence that fresh terms will be agreed soon.
