According to reports, Saudi Arabia Pro League team Al Hilal have offered Napoli €140 million (roughly N120 billion) to recruit highly regarded Nigerian attacker Victor Osimhen.

According to Sky Sports, Al Hilal, which recently made a record €300 million bid to capture PSG’s struggling Kylian Mbappe, is in talks with Napoli about a prospective transfer agreement for the player.

The Italian club, however, want at least €150 million in order to discuss selling the highly rated striker. On the player front, Al Hilal is willing to pay the Super Eagles forward €1 million, or around N850 million each week, to get him to transfer to the Middle East.

Napoli and the 24-year-old failed to agree on a new two-year deal last month; the club wants a €200 million release clause placed into the contract, while Osimhen will only sign the extension if the release clause is €150 million.

Meanwhile, there are no current signs from the player’s camp that Osimhen is willing to examine the “attractive” offer from the Saudi Pro League, where several top European players have relocated during the current transfer window.
