Arsenal player may have made his final appearance for the club; club in talks about transfer. Special Star is no longer a part of Arsenal boss Arteta’s plans.

Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga is not in Mikel Arteta’s plans for this season, according to Corriere dello Sport, as relayed by Milan News.

Last year, the young Belgian joined Arsenal from Anderlecht for £18 million (Goal). He had a strong start to the season, but he only saw three league starts after the turn of the year.

Lokonga has emerged as a target for Italian champions AC Milan, who are looking to replace Franck Kessie, who has moved to Barcelona, according to reports.

The Rossoneri were heavily linked with Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches, but he recently signed with PSG. This has shifted their focus to Lokonga, and news from Italy suggests that a deal is possible.

According to CorSport, ‘the Belgian has no space at Arsenal,’ while Milan News reports that the midfielder is ‘not part of Arteta’s plans and is looking for accommodation.’

Lokonga, who is only 22 years old, has four years left on his Arsenal contract.
