The West Africa Examination Council has released the results of the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination conducted from May to June, 2022.

Candidates can now check their results within the next twelve hours as it is gradually uploaded to the results website.

Speaking on Monday at the WAEC office in Yaba, the Head of Nigerian Office, WAEC, Mr Patrick Areghan, said, “copies of the Result Listing will be sent to schools shortly. I need not restate the fact that the results of candidates who are sponsored by states indebted to the Council will not be released now until they pay up. We appeal to them to do so to enable the affected schools/candidates access their results.”

He further added some schools had failed to upload their students’ Continuous Assessment Capturing System at the allotted time and some schools failed to meet up with registration.

The examination body disclosed that up to 1.22 million candidates who sat for the examination made five credits, including Mathematics and English Language. A total of 365,564 results were withheld for further screening.
