Nigerian singer & songwriter, Wizkid has slammed Reekado Banks, for announcing the release of an ‘old song’ they recorded together amid the ongoing EndSARS protest.
Nigerian artiste, Reekado Banks took
to Twitter page to announce that he would be dropping a song he recorded with Wizkid today.
Apparently, Wizkid feels this isn’t the proper time to release the songs due to national protest against police brutality, & that is reason for indefinitely postponing his most anticipated album “Made In Lagos”.
Reekado had shared a snippet of the jam on his twitter page with the caption;
“Omo Olomo” with Wizkid by midnight today. He wrote: “Out of control, gbedu must drop. This one with my brother @wizkidayo “OMO OLOMO” midnight dropping Fire Still on the matter !!! #EndSWAT #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality”
On the other hand wizkid blasted him for releasing the song at the wrong time.
“Delete this dude ! Can’t believe you’re even doing this at a time like this. Old song ! #endsars fool!”
