Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 87th minute to help Al Nassr of the Saudi Pro League draw 1-1 with Zamalek on Thursday, advancing to the knockout stage of the Arab Club Champions Cup.

The Egyptian team took the lead from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute and were on their way to finishing six points behind Al-Shabab before Ronaldo’s strike.

The Portuguese forward rose higher than Zamalek’s defenders to head in Ghislain Konan’s cross and will now seek to lead his team in the same fashion when they face Moroccan club Raja Club Athletic in the quarter finals.

The draw means Al Nassr finished second with five points in Group C.
