The cover alludes to Carter Efe and Berri Tiga’s recent public feud over the ownership of their hit single “Machala.”

Portable discussed how some influential people set out to defraud artists in the name of helping them, while using street lexicons in his cover.

The street singer spoke from personal experience, having been involved in a public feud with dancer, promoter, and media personality Poco Lee following the release of the ‘Zazzuh Zeh’ remix, in which Poco Lee claimed the position of lead artist.

Portable mentions the recent feud between Berri Tiga (who wrote and recorded ‘Machala’) and Carter Efe, who promoted and financed the song, in Azaman.

“Machala” has since become the subject of a bitter feud between the two, dividing opinion, particularly among popular artists and influencers.

Fans, however, have accused him of sampling the song without Asake’s permission. Fans of Asake advised him to be ready to give Olamide and Asake 98% of the profits from the song.

Because Portable uses the beat and melody of Asake’s ‘Organise,’ the song is likely to face copyright issues, and if he uploads it, it will be removed from streaming platforms for copyright infringement.
