Entrepreneur and CEO of two of the world’s largest companies, Elon Musk, is well on his way to becoming the world’s first trillionaire.

According to report, Morgan Stanley analysts estimate that Elon Musk, the 50-year-old CEO of Space X and Tesla, will become the world’s first trillionaire, owing to his aerospace company SpaceX.

Revenue from Musk’s space company, Space X, is expected to put him over the trillion-dollar milestone in the coming years, according to analysts.

“More than one client has told us that if Elon Musk were to become the first trillionaire… it won’t be because of Tesla,” analyst Adam Jones said to The Guardian, referring to the electric car company behind most of Musk’s wealth till date.

“Others have said SpaceX may eventually be the most highly valued company in the world in any industry,” Jones added.

While humans have yet to reach Mars, Musk has set this as one of his company’s goals via SpaceX’s spaceship. However, following the success of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, the upgraded launched system has great expectations.

“As one client put it, ‘talking about space before Starship is like talking about the internet before Google,’” explains Jones.

According to CNBC, Space X was valued at $100.3 billion in early October, up from $74 billion in February. According to The Guardian, this increase in valuation makes SpaceX the world’s second-largest privately held company, with Musk owning 48 percent of the company.

Among SpaceX’s many achievements this year is the first successful launch and landing of a spaceship rocket. It also made history by becoming the first spacecraft to launch an all-civilian crew into orbit.

According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Elon Musk’s net worth is estimated to be $242 billion. Tesla is still his most valuable asset.

Bezos is currently the second-richest person in the world, per Bloomberg, with a net worth of $197 billion, followed by Bernard Arnault ($163 billion), Bill Gates ($133 billion) and Mark Zuckerberg ($127 billion)..
