The actress also added that she chose surrogacy because she wanted a child for herself, with or without a husband, and since her eggs are fertile, she had to give it a trial.

“I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages, and I just got tired of trying and didn’t want to try. I don’t have a husband, so I am like I want a child for myself whether I have a husband or not.
So what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child, my eggs.
Thankfully my eggs are good, so I did that.” she said.

Recall that Ini Edo married American businessman Philip Ehiagwina in 2008. The marriage lasted only five years, and they divorced in 2013.
