Jude Bellingham has been named the 2023 Golden Boy, a renowned accolade given to the finest Under-21 player in Europe’s top divisions.

The 20-year-old England and Real Madrid midfielder defeated a strong field that included Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich, Alejandro Balde of Barcelona, Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig, and Antonio Silva of Benfica.

His meteoric ascension to the pinnacle of world football has been nothing short of spectacular. He began his professional career at Birmingham City, where he made his debut as the club’s youngest player at the age of 16 years and 38 days.

Bellingham immediately became a regular starter and fan favourite, and his jersey was retired.
