The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has clarified that the occupants of a white vehicle that was swept away by yesterday’s flood in Oko-Oba, Agege, were rescued and are all safe.

Recall that, a video circulated online showing residents frantically searching for the occupants in the hope of removing their bodies from the SUV.

The occupants, with the exception of one, perished in the flood, according to reports on social media last night.

According to a statement released by Mrs. Margaret Adeseye, Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, all occupants were rescued and are safe.
