Samuel Eto’o, a Barcelona legend, was filmed appearing to knee someone in the head.

The Cameroonian was present for Brazil’s 4-1 win over South Korea last night.

Eto’o appeared to be content taking selfies with fans as he walked out of Stadium 974 after the game.

In video obtained by La Opinion, however, the 41-year-old became animated after exchanging words with a man holding a camera.

A clearly enraged Eto’o stormed down the cameraman, only to be stopped by four other onlookers.

While being led away, the man with the camera, who appeared to be a YouTuber with over 60,000 subscribers, paused to crouch down, just as Eto’o shook off those attempting to calm him.

In a shocking turn of events, the former Chelsea forward ran up to the YouTuber and appeared to knee him in the head.

Despite the force of the blow, the man rose to his feet quickly, and Eto’o was led away from the scene.

Following the incident, it was revealed that it may have been sparked by a disagreement over Cameroon’s World Cup qualification.

The Indomitable Lions qualified for Qatar by defeating Algeria earlier this year.

Algeria was enraged by the refereeing during the second leg of the play-off, and demanded that it be replayed.

Eto’o, who played 118 times for Cameroon between 1997 and 2014, is now the president of the Cameroon Football Federation.

He has been in Qatar watching his team and decided to attend last night’s match despite the fact that Cameroon was eliminated last week.

The Indomitable Lions were defeated by Switzerland 1-0 before drawing 3-3 with Serbia.

Last Friday’s 1-0 win over Brazil was insufficient to advance them to the round of 16.

Eto’o has been in Qatar as a “legacy ambassador” for the tournament, in addition to his role with the Cameroon Football Federation.

The former striker has been spotted with Fifa President Gianni Infantino.
